New SCS900 Site Controller Software TTE (Trimble Tablet Edition) Enhanced for Use with Trimble Tablet

The Trimble Tablet runs a new version of Trimble SCS900 Site Controller Software: SCS900 TTE (Trimble Tablet Edition). SCS900 TTE takes full advantage of the features of the new Trimble Tablet.

The software displays clear and bright on the large Tablet screen. A new sidebar allows users to view satellite or total station information, and gives one-touch access to all the options associated with the task they are performing. The sidebar can be -hidden if the whole screen is needed, e.g., to view a map.

New Spectra Precision LR20 Laser Receiver for Compact Machines

New Spectra Precision LR20 Laser Receiver for Compact Machines

The new Spectra Precision® LR20 laser receivers allow compact machines to achieve tighter tolerances without the need for a grade checker. Now smaller machines can be more productive while improving accuracy and saving material usage costs.

Designed specifically for the cost-conscious site prep contractor, these receivers offer a very attractive return on investment by improving the productivity and material usage costs of compact machines. From simple depth and slope display to elevation control, small-or medium-sized contractors can broaden the scope of job applications and very easily move the laser receivers across their fleet of compact machines.

New Spectra Precision Laser MC50 Laser Receiver

New Spectra Precision Laser MC50 Laser Receiver

The new Spectra Precision® Laser MC50 machine control laser receiver is a rugged electronic receiver that works with all common rotating lasers. It detects both visible and invisible beams.

The MC50 is designed to be installed with a Spectra Precision Laser Control Box for automatic control on certain grading machines. Power to the MC50 receiver comes from the control box, which is connected to the machine’s power.

The receiver does not have any on-board switches. Instead, settings are made at the control box. A mini built-in LED display provides blade location relative to grade, as well as high, low, and lost beam indications.

New Spectra Precision Laser HV301G

New Spectra Precision Laser HV301G

The new Spectra Precision Laser HV301G is an automatic, self-levelling horizontal and vertical laser offering exceptional versatility and superior green-beam visibility. This rugged, easy-to-use laser is ideal for a wide variety of horizontal, vertical and plumb applications.

The HV301G green laser beam is easy to see in all interior jobsite conditions, and is useful for extended working ranges or in bright conditions.

Intuitive controls allow operators to carry out many functions with simple one-touch commands. A 360-degree remote control is included and allows operation of key functions over the jobsite.

The New Spectra Precision® Laser GL522 with HL750

The New Spectra Precision® Laser GL522 with HL750

The Spectra Precision® Laser GL522 dual grade transmitter is rugged, cost-effective, automatic self-levelling lasers that can do three jobs—level, grade, and vertical alignment.

The GL522 includes a 2-way, full-function remote control with a built-in back-lit grade display. You can do everything with the remote control that you can do at the laser keypad, up to 330 ft (100 m) away from the laser—even from the cab of a machine! The ability to make grade changes from anywhere on the job greatly reduces setup time and speeds operation. Verbal and visual communication errors are eliminated.

The GL522 Grade Laser retains all the other advantages of the GL400 series lasers with additional features and benefits.

New wireless communication between the HL750 Laserometer and the transmitters provide automatic Grade Matching. Grade Matching allows measurement of unknown grade values between two points. PlaneLok is also available in both the horizontal and vertical planes. PlaneLok automatically locks the beam on the receiver and keeps it on grade. This eliminates all environmental factors that may induce an error.

Additionally, the HL750 Laserometer works with another HL750 for long range wireless remote display and monitoring.

New Spectra Precision DDS300 Excavator Depth Display System

New Spectra Precision DDS300 Excavator Depth Display System

Designed for compact equipment including backhoes, mini-excavators and smaller excavators, the new DDS300 system provides dynamic depth display to improve the accuracy and productivity of trenching, excavating and grading operations. With wireless connectivity between components, simple installation and movement between machines, and an affordable price, the new DDS300 is ideal for use with compact equipment on large commercial, industrial and residential projects.

The DDS300 system is easy-to-install and use. It uses wireless connectivity between the sensors on the boom and the in-cab control box to eliminate cables and significantly reduce installation time. This innovative capability makes it quick and easy to move the system between mini-excavators, backhoes and small excavators—in as little as 30 minutes.

New Release - PCS900 Paving Control System

New Release - PCS900 Paving Control System

The PCS900 3D paving system is new and the first system in Europe has been sold to Aggregate Industries for a large motorway project where the machine will be laying 11metre wide sections of CBM. The CCS900 3D Compaction system has been around for a year or so now as well and I suspect this year will see a lot of interest. The new DDS300 Excavator system is very interesting with wireless magnetic sensors and a very fast install and calibration time. I suspect this will be well received within the groundworks sector

New Release - PCS900 Paving Control System

Available now is Trimble’s newly released automatic 3D Paving control system that can significantly improve paving productivity and the rideability of road and airport surfaces by directly referencing the digital design. Using the PCS900, contractors can produce final paved surfaces with a smoother ride and significantly fewer errors.

The operator just loads design data into the system and the machine automatically keeps the screed on design, allowing for compaction.

On new roads, base material must be laid accurately to increase the material yield and profitability of the ensuing asphalt or concrete laying operation. By paving the base to design correctly the first time with PCS900, contractors can save on the cost of rework and additional material.

On resurfacing jobs, road-waves can be reduced or eliminated by paving in 3D to a smooth design, allowing the contractor to gain their rideability bonus.

The Trimble PCS900 Paving Control System can be mounted on a variety of new or used asphalt paving machines, regardless of manufacturer.
